I am a biological data scientist, interested in virology and immunology research. Currently, I am leading the computational work at UCSF's Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Bioinformatics sub-core. My focus is on the development and application of computational methods for bulk RNAseq, single-cell RNAseq, and T-cell repertoire sequencing (TCRseq) analysis in the setting of HIV infection. My previous work involved the development and application of computational methods for large-scale genomic surveillance of pandemic-causing pathogens. I also like backpacking and camping in remote areas.
