Van is a postdoctoral scholar jointly affiliated with the Combes and Krummel labs. His research focuses on high-dimensional profiling of human solid cancers, integrating transcriptional, compositional, and genomic data to refine the classification of the tumor microenvironment (TME) into distinct immune archetypes. Van earned his PhD at the University of Lausanne in the labs of George Coukos and Melita Irving, where he specialized in cancer immunotherapy, particularly in engineering T cells and developing adoptive T cell transfer therapies using TCR and CAR T cells to target solid tumors.
