I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA.  I was an intern in the Immunoassay R&D department at Beckman Coulter in Los Angeles before moved to San Francisco.  Upon joining UCSF, I worked as a research associate and lab manager for fifteen years in Dr. Pui Kwok laboratory before working in Institute of Human Genetics Genomics Core for four years.  I joined the Genomics Core at the CoLabs just after the facility’s expansion, where I work directly with researchers and offer consultation, and help customers prepare next generation sequencing library with various 10x Genomics Single Cell assays.
